If I had a girlfriend or spouse, this mild-mannered guy would go verbally berserk. I would never lay a hand on her, but I'd dump her on the spot. No mercy, and a long time till forgiveness.
I've never been married before, so I've never had to deal with a cheating spouse.
I'm the type of person who strongly believes in being faithful to his girlfriend or spouse, and I should expect the same from her, and I've never cheated on any of the gals I was involved with in the past. If she cheated on me, I would have a long talk with her, and if the cheating persists, it's time to walk away - Plain and simple, there's no sense wasting my time with her. Yes I will be heart-broken, but I'll move on, at least it's better than have to suffer through her persistent cheating.
A friend of mine has told me she would have a shrine built to Betty Broderick if her husband cheated on her...remember Betty? She even had Meredith Baxter Birney portray her in a Lifetime movie. I guess you know you're nuts when good ole Meredith gets your part!

The relationship would be officially over. It's not something I can forgive or forget so i would have to move on.
