What did you do today that made you happy? (love, husband, children)

I thought I'd start a happy thread! So, tell me, what did you do that made you happy today?

I spent the day with my husband and children at an amazing plantation...it is actually the ruins of a once stately manor that was built in the 1700's and it burned in 1916...quite a lovely place.

Then we went out on the boat, went skiing and wake boarding...had a blast!

Sounds fun! I love touring historical places...
I worked today, but I came home and watched Home Improvement on my DVR... That's the extent of my day... Not too exciting...

You know what makes me happy- comedy. Anytime I find something that makes me laugh. I call it a good day.

It helps stave off the depression.

My MIL made a joke based on something that I said earlier in the evening that made me laugh.

she's a good broad.

It would be virtually impossible for the word "happy" and "MIL" to appear together in one of my posts

The word "broad" was one of my grandfathers favorites.
