In a man's eyes - is there such a thing as a woman having her life and head *TOO together.* Should a woman that has it together dumb-herself down a little?
Are men intimidated by women who are financially successful VS not being able to somewhat "save her" as a Damsel?
Thanks in advance.
Asking for a friend of a friend whose Mother's beautician's cousin's friend's Auntie wants to know. Of course. LOL ;-)
My wife claims she married me because I'm the only man on the planet unintimidated by her. She's a raging beauty, of course, but beauty is good for a fun night on the town. Brains is what you want for breakfast the next morning.
I don't think a woman should ever have to dumb herself down. In high school most of the girls I knew and dated were "daddy's girls" who had never worked a day in there life and knew nothing about the value of a dollar. They were completely dependent on their parents and their parents wealth for everything. I met a girl my age in college who was a manager at a company, very intelligent and well read and supported herself. I had a big crush on her. So I suppose I prefer my women strong. The flip side of that is I am sometimes tense around strong women. I am intimidated around them in general, but still have a great deal of respect for them. So I do prefer a woman not to be dumbed done, even if they scare me sometimes

Yes. I did that a lot when I was younger and ended up with um, not stupid, but definitely less than bright men. I'm older and wiser now and I don't bother anymore. I figure you gotta take me as I am or not at all!
YES---A lot of guys don't like intelligent, confident women..Trust me, when I was single, they all were scared!!! Maybe an equal playing field made them feel inferior??
