I just had a thought and wondered what every one else thinks too. Do you think a young man selling his virginity would get as much publicity/bidders as the young woman who has stirred up a media frenzy? Would a parent be as outraged if a son were to do the exact same thing as this daughter? And do you think the same stigma would be attached to a man selling his virginity? Talk to me...

I think there would be total outrage. First of all, if a guy is "selling his virginity" odds are that he's gay and will only have gay men bidding for this. There would be no straight man auctioning off his virginity because no woman would pay for it. Women (if attractive) can get any man they want pretty much anytime they want. So its a totally different game we're talking about here.

U r pretty hard on the virgin male. Surely man love is worth more than a buck. I mean shouldn't a guy get a little more respect? But a virgin girl to a man is a great conquest.
