I meant that I prefer to talk to people in person, like she said this guy does. I usually only use the phone to set up activities, or talk to people a long distance from me. Settle down nancies.

What you're saying sounds OK to me. I know most men are not into yapping on the phone and it's really not that necessary in the same location.
Her post, though, gave me the vibe that he's just not interested.
I think that all of you need to get a life and stop asking the fricken Internet for advice! U guys need to make your own decisions and go with whatever you feel is right...you can't just ask someone else how they would handle the situation..u have to ask yourself "what would I do if..." so all of u just practice a little common sense and realize that asking the world wide web for advice isnt going to solve things becuz it depends on what you an your partners personalities are...that's what helps you to find the right things to say..not asking people you don't even know!
Well I'm way old and cynical but in my opinion, men and women cannot be "friends". I make exception for those who are related, wildly different age gaps, a friend's ex etc, but generally speaking, if a guy is hanging out with you or calling you, you can pretty well guarantee he wants to shag you.
I repeat. Men are NOT shy! They do play hard to get to assess the level of your interest and to get you to chase them, however.
