Typical Philly response,I've heard it before. Deflecting the blame away from one of the sources of the problem.
I really suggest you get out about the real city more,I really do. Then MAYBE your eyes might be opened if not slightly.
I've seen the ghetto around Philadelphia and it does suck. I wouldn't live there. I hang out in center city and Manayunck and Chestnut Hill. It's gorgeous. You should try it.

Exactly. Asking to be spontaneous means you are not being spontaneous.
Right now she just started new pain meds. One of the side effects was supposed to be like euphoria...quite the opposite! The drug companies can't even be right about the side effects!
Why don't you ask for a couple of her meds, take off all your clothes and try to have a conversation with her? It's not aggressive, but it might be fun.

I have tried it...well not the places you mentioned but the 'better' areas of the city. Thing is I still have to come home to here. Anyway it's not just where I live but the attitude of the area in general also.
I'm not aggressive in any sense, but I'm very persistent in my pursuit of whatever I set my eyes on. Once I decide upon my target, I will do it as if I were Vietnamese guerilla fighting US military, I may suffer losses, I may have to retreat, I may be outmatched on every imaginable account, but I will ultimately win. Too bad for women, so far, none of them are lucky enough to be my real interest of pursuit.
