This post isn;t about just man/woman relationship stuff....it is about PEOPLE as a whole and why they are so closed off? I am SO tired of sticking my neck out to be friends with people and getting nothing back from them but crap!I am just so fed UP! When are people going to wake up and see me for the gem I am? I deserve to be around quality people and I get nothing in return! I wonder if the economy is making people this way? Is that possible? I've just called five poeple to talk and left five messages and got no answers! It ain't me trust me on this one!

You didn't just have a conversation with a young lady and ask her what you thought were just harmless questions did you? Cause there's this thread....

Eh... don't try and blame yet another thing on the economy. It's always been that way for me. I learned how unhealthy it was and stopped extending myself to people (which wasn't easy to do in the beginning, as I'm a nice person) and it's SO much better now. The few remaining friends I have are way cool. Quality over quantity in my book!

No, the economy doesn't make people turn rude - it makes them commit suicide and/or take their family members out with them. I think there were 3 of those articles in my local newspaper today.

I'm sorry for your troubles. I can really relate and understand your point of view.

Didn't I tell you a hundred times it really isn't personal. I told you that in my experience 6 out of 10 people are toxic. My definition of toxic means flakes, users, NPDs, or anti-socials. That is how society is......don't stick your neck out to be friends so much.

Also on some occasions people really are too bummed out, busy, depressed, or lazy to return phone calls.

Yeah, I am too frazzled to return most phone calls. I hate to be on the phone - would rather talk in person. I just know with certain people I'm going to be on the phone forever and then my ear is going to hurt and be all red and stuff.
