I've found myself getting enamoured of gay men a lot. Not that I "like like" them, I just wonder, are they like surrogate girlfriends? Brothers?

personally no strong attraction. however very interesting topic, if you look in the women's fashion magazines, the models look like men that gay men would find very attractive exotic dashing exciting. if you look at retail magazine male models they have a strikely different appearance more like family type guys.

Most women LOOOOOVE gay men. They have all the great qualities of regular girlfriends but without the monthly bit*hyness that most women have.

I used to entertain this sweet notion in the past, too. That was before I actually got to meet a few. I live a sheltered life, ya know. Turned out every single one of them irritated the hell out of me - present company not excepted.

I work with many gay men and women and most of them make very fine friends. Like straight people, there are good and not so good. People are people.

The gay men and women I like are dedicated, loyal and honest. They trust me with their feelings and return the favor. I am honored to have so many wonderful gay friends, both male and female.

I m straight as can be but I am grateful for the wonderful associations I have with my gay friends. I do not understand anyone who would ever judge them because of their sexual preference.

Yeah...almost every time I've ever gotten a crush on a guy or fallen for a guy, I found out at some point that he was gay. I'd say many of them do appeal to me.

I don't know why people judge gays so harshly, maybe its the whole religious thing.

Not being a scientist, I always kinda thought that being gay isn't a choice, you just are, almost like its in the DNA. If it is a choice how do so many gays know when they are very young that they are different?? Why would people put themselves through so much grieve, especially years ago??

So, even if you use the religion point of view then, one could argue that all of God's creatures have a purpose and that God doesn't make mistakes, so therefore God created gays. I don't know if that logic would appeal to the religious right, how about man doesn't judge his fellow man, God is the final judge.

How do you like them apples?

I don't care about their sexual preference. It's their behavior I can't stand. I suppose my opinion is based only on those who play the feminine part - the high-pitched voices, mannerism, snobbish attitudes, stupid remarks, etc...

I kinda agree about the flamboyant types, although I wouldn't discriminate against them for it.
