I had posted a discussion last night, but it was deleted. So I assume I need to be less graphic about it.

Anyway, Im not so angry as I was last night, but to re-cap I met someone who had their cat climbing and sniffing all over my clothes while we were being intimate.

I also didnt like the idea of when I first meet someone, they have their cat/dog running the house, or spend half the date yelling at their pets to get off the sofa or go to the other room. HELLO! you should have put your pet in the other room before I get to your house!

I was so turned off from the nasty cat poop smell and the cat itself, that I quickly got dressed and left. Do people not realize that having their pet staring at a someone being intimate is uncomfortable? Dont get me wrong, I love pets...but I came to spend time with you...not AND your cat/dog. The reason why I am griping about this now is because I have had it happen 2, 3, 10 times already!

p.s. I meant to have this posted in the relationship forum.

Why can you smell poop? Is the litter box in the bedroom?

Anyway, I'm sure the animal is either bored as hell watching, probably critiquing and making fun, or simply falling asleep of boredom. Or maybe they're trying to pick up a few neat acrobatic tricks, who knows.

Anyway, I don't think most animal lovers are going to be sympathetic to your request So you have to look over every once in a while and see drool hanging from a dogs mouth hitting the carpet, big deal!

Wasn't this about your clothes last night? Cats usually don't sniff clothing, it's usually dogs that do that. What did your clothing smell like?

You must not have grown up with pets. I can understand the cat litter box smell issue - that's not pleasant. But people with pets generally do have them in the house. If you don't like pets, perhaps you shouldn't become intimate with someone who has pets. We draw the line at the dog or cat actually being ON the bed with us . They're sent to the floor during those moments. Unless WE'RE on the floor. Then they're sent to the bed .

aside from sex, pets know a great deal more than they are given credit for. but often we are not interested in what they have to say, or only when its convenient.
