I love these stories! Tell me the story about meeting your significant other and how they became so...significant! (lol)

I met my current boyfriend at the store that I work at (I'm not so proud to say that this is how I meet most of the men I date). He had shopped in my store more than a year previous to us being a couple. I remember that we chatted and he gave me his number to invite my co-worker and me to a party. I thought that he was attractive but assumed that he was interested in my co-worker because she is such a cute girl. I didn't go to the party and threw his number away. Fast forward a year and some odd months: I'm going through the VERY difficult demise of a relationship with someone very special to me and Party Boy comes in to my store with his friend. He is staring at me but he only looks vaguely familiar to me. I heard him tell his friend, "She doesn't remember me." I told him I did remember him somewhat. We chatted and I gave him my number per his request. He called ten minutes later to invite me bowling that night. Even though I'd given him my number, I wasn't interested because I was still hanging on to Special Boy. The next day I go to Party Boys house to watch a movie and smoke hookah. Very early on, he tries to stick his tongue down my throat which was a HUGE turn off to me so after that I blow him off. We don't talk for probably more than a month. During that time, a situation occurs with Special Boy and I have no option but to let him go. Four days later after I let Special Boy go, Party Boy calls me and invites me to hang out with him and his friends. As a part of my recovery of Special Boy, I make myself half-heartedly go. From that day, Party Boy was very consistent. He wanted to hang out every day and invited me everywhere with him. Sometimes I went, sometimes I didn't. I wasn't really ready to date anyone at that point. I kept telling my friends, "I have to end things before they get too serious." But the more I got to know him, the more I liked him and the less I wanted to dump him. I think the attention was just what I needed at that point but I refused to commit until I felt relatively over Special Boy (out of fairness to Party Boy). It was nice to have someone consistent in my life for a change. The feelings took a while to develop, but I love the relationship that I'm in now!

I met the wife at the casino we used to work for in California. She was a vault teller, I was an ATM technician and had to go to her in order to get cash to refill them. She noticed my accent and right away she started with the mocking. We hit it off form the start, started playing around, she'd hit me with a rubber band, I'd come back later on with the old "you got something on your shirt" comment then slide my finger up to her nose. We went on date, then another and another, after a short time we definately fell for each other, moved in together and then got married a year later.

It was a dark strip club I worked at. I was dancing on stage when I felt a roll of quarters fall in my g-string. She smiled and said, "You looked like you needed some help."
