For example, when the trash is full, they take it out.
The dishwasher is full, but they unload it. Maybe there is a load of clothes in the dryer, and they happen to take them out, and fold them.
I notice these things, and its so nice to have them done without having to ask!
Helping with the supper dishes is great.

I have lived with a couple gf's in the past, and I always had a few rules.

If you cook, I clean it up and do the dishes, no exceptions

Trash is my job, don't even think about it

Call me on your way home from the grocery store (if I didn't go), and I will carry all of the groceries in..

Besides, that pretty sums up what I do everyday with the addition of after coming home from work, make dinner and take over with baby duties.
