I am a guy but from experience and what I have heard women say, they wish that their men would listen to them when when something is bothering them and let them vent by listening to them talk. Even if they have a grip about something small.
When a woman needs to talk, a guy needs to turn off the tv and listen.
Offer up a genuine compliment once in a while. Women like to know that their husbands notice us and our efforts.
You don't have to tell us we are the most georgeous woman EVER, but an occassional "You look nice today" "Did you cut Your hair? I like it" would be nice.
I'd even be happy for mine to notice how hard I work to keep OUR home looking nice. Everyone else notices. He's pretty quick to point out if I don't do something but rarely see's how much work I actually do.
I doubt he realizes how much of my times goes into dusting, vacumning, laundry, mopping, cleaning windows, touching up the paint when he bangs his briefcase into the wall, etc......
I would like for my husband to acknowledge I am good at my job!!!! Not tell people I just play "games in the mud".
