hmm yeah i suppose it is time HE does something, but then theres the chance that he wont. His mind isnt as creative as mine lol.

No man's is! You're just setting the pattern of doing it forever. Hey, if it makes you happy no harm in it... Can't you let one year/holiday go and act as if nothing's wrong and see what happens next time?

I agree, maybe let him do something this time? Even if it isn't as fun as yours, at least he would feel like he tried.

If not, what about going to a really nice spa and getting a couples massage? You could even rent a room in a nearby hotel and go there afterwards for some champagne, etc....
