It's just a perception issue. I've had a Karate instructor that was 5' 6" that could kick the krap out of just about anybody he went against. Short or tall.
I love feeling like the man I'm with will protect me but I've never found height to be a factor. My ex is 6' and I may as well have been alone for all the protection he would have been.
I love having a taller man! I have always dated guys that were much taller than me, I'm only 5'3 so that was not too hard but now, when my husband and I go out on dates, I love the fact that I can wear my super high heels and still be shorter than him.
