me too! I thought the question was if they wore a chain necklace or had a bunch of crosses hanging up in their house.
Doing it at a restaurant and/or for no apparent reason would just make me ask about it.

When I saw the thread title, I thought it was about someone wearing a cross on a chain. Obviously I am not catholic!

By the way, my son has gone to catholic church with his dad, for years. He probably wouldn't say anything.

I have seen people do this on planes before a flight-totally understandable, and before meals-again totally understandable. but just out of the blue, I would ask about it.

I've known devout believers in Christ from various religions to do that. They might have a problem with me not being devout or a church goer, so there wouldn't be much of a future there.

That's a good point about being "religiously" on the same page with each other. To me that would be very important. Fortunately, my wife and I are both "Jesus Freaks" or whatever.... so we don't ever have that become a problem between us. But, yeah, I would find out early on in the relationship if there is any significance to this.....

Wow, some VERY anti-religious people on this forum. Some of you would really not date a person because they say grace before a meal?

Maybe she's praying to God that the date works out?

What would you think?
OP, what is your point? I noticed that you said on another post that you were Catholic so I know you know what it means. Did someone freakout on you when you did this? If I saw it, all I would think was "she's Catholic" and thats about it.
