I'm afraid of needles. They needed to draw blood for a test< so they busted my head open. That was the only way they could get it out of me.

I have none. I was a combat medic, so blood doesn't scare me. I speak in public a lot, so that doesn't scare me.

Wait- when the wife says "Where have you been?", okay that scares me.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. Has it gotten worse? Did it bother you when Mrs.Cat had the babies and the nurses inserted the IV?

Your not alone, I have a friend, she is this little hispanic person, comes to about my shoulder. She is married to this very large, good looking black man. He is terrified of needles. He had to go in to have blood drawn and tears came to his eyes, he was ready to flee the scene, Ruth being the sensetive wife she is, punched him in the shoulder and told him to butch up, he was embarassing her.

I used to have some issues, not full blown phobias with needles but after a series of medical problems, I'm pretty good.

Let me give you some advice to make getting blood drawn easier. Drink alot of water just before you go into have your blood drawn. I went in one time and I had not had anything to drink or eat that morning and they couldn't get anything out of me, they had to stick me a couple times. Then they realized the problem, got me to drink and then they could draw blood. Just another sign of dehydration. I was shocked and a little dazed after being stuck so many times and seeing NO BLOOD coming out no matter what they did.

I'm still not completely over my phobia, but it's gotten much better.

I will not/cannot light a normal match or lighter although I have started lighting those big long matches so I can light my own candles if we have those in the house My sister is the same way though which is strange
