Even though its 2009, I am still a firm believer that there are some places in U.S., Canada and the world that are bad for interracial relationships. In the village, town or city you currently live in, how good or bad is it for interracial dating and relationships? If currently in a interracial relationship, what experiences, both good and bad (if any), have you encountered?
Its bad enough my Stepkids are Iranian but they don't live here.I also made the mistake of helping out the Mennonites, you can hire them to do work, you can buy stuff from them, you just don't become friends with them.
If I was wanting to either indanger my life or property all I would have to do is bring a Black back here and it wouldn't have to be a date.
There was a Retired Kansas City Chief Football player come here to start a Football Team at the High School. The Kids told him they didn't want him there. He said he didn't have to put up with it and left.

Cities where I've lived:
Tulsa/Broken Arrow, Oklahoma: So-so. You get the occasional brief glance but usually if you mind your business, people will mind theirs. Happens more in Tulsa metro than in BA, surrounding cities. Usually not a problem though.
Houston, TX: This city is so big, I don't think anyone really cares to be perfectly honest, seen plenty of IR's from gay to asian/latin to black/white. Happens more in the city than in the suburbs though. Seen more IR's in TX than in any southern state except Florida.
I wouldn't say Tucson is "bad" in this respect because people normally mind their own business. It's just that the Black and Asian population are represented in miniscule numbers here, which may not appeal to some. The Hispanics (large group) seem to date and marry within their community for the most part.
I live in LA where people do pretty much what they want and nobody really cares. I've been in interracial relationships saince my 20's and I've never had any problems.
Looked down upon here. The black/white couples are usually low income.
