Denverian and artsyguy, thanks for your comments. Perhaps the few guys I've heard this from weren't really gay in the truest sense. They could have easily been bi or trans.

I wasn't saying that gay men are into the boyish look. What I was saying is that if male fashion designers are gay, then they're less likely to be distracted by how hot a woman is and more concerned with how the clothes look on the model. So if they're favoring boyish looking models, then wouldn't that be funny to think the pressure women feel to be thin is in part the result of what gay men think makes their designs more flattering.
