So what do you all think is the best and worst cities/areas in this country for singles?
I would have to think that Los Angeles would be the best place for singles. Lots of people here, and most everyone is into looking their best and taking care of their bodies.
Other large cities where there is a large population should also be great when it comes to dating for singles.
I would have to think that places like Idaho, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama would be some of the worst.
So what? You make it sound like cities with large gay populations don't have other kind of people.
No, YOU'RE thinking that in your head. I didn't say that.
The fact of the matter is, and I know this from quite a FEW people, who have moved to Atlanta...that its very hard to distinguish who is GAY and who is not GAY down there because of the "on the down low" phenomenon. I mean, if you're gay, and OUT with it, GREAT! Its the ones who choose to keep it on the low, who choose to date other women, but are really into MEN, that are the ones who make it hard for singles who are AWARE of this "on the down low" phenomenon.
*headed to the Denver forum to do some research on the city*
haha!! it sounds like a colder version of texas! though I've only ever been to Texas when I was 7 years old when we drove through from New York to AZ, so I don't know personally much about the 2 states.
I think the area I am in (DC area) is pretty great for singles. It is one of the most fit areas of the country, and the population of young professionals is huge. Actually, Northern Virginia may be almost better than DC itself for the latter statistic.
