Me and my sweetie stopped by to pick up a few things at the grocery store today and, as usual, walked into the store holding hands. We do this all the time, never even really think about it--we hold hands just about everywhere we go with our graying heads shinning in the sun.

A lady sitting in her vehicle shouts to us as we walk by how sweet we looked and my DH says to her "well, she's my girl!" (Because I'm three years younger, he often tells others that I'm his "child bride!") We're celebrating our thirty year anniversary in a couple of months.

Afterwards I started noting that I didn't see any other couples holding hands and I thought maybe we're just different. So I'm asking:

Do you still hold hands with your spouse or SO? Why or why not?

I think holding hands is sweet and I don't mind it but there are times when I want my hands to be free and able!

I think it's so endearing though to see an older couple or small children holding hands - it's quite touching.

Yep I hold hands with my boyfriend and why not?

I think it's so cute to see older couples hold hands while they're walking.

Never did...never will. It kinda repulses me actually. It was one of the collection reasons I ended a relationship. This guy always had be holding my hand or touching my back...egh. It feels too clingy.

Oh its clingy...every hand holder I dated....always there..asking what I am thinking and feeling and doing...ugh...Get a hobby dude.

If anyone is in tune...they are in love...and when they know/do what you want...they are in love...I really do not think holding hands or not has anything to do with being love.
