When my husband calls me by my first name, not the nickname I was introduced to him as, it totally catches me off guard.

I call him by his full first name not his nickname all the time, and I swear he puffs out his chest LOL

I have several names for my SO and none of them can be repeated here ....LOL JUST kidding. We have a funny nickname for each other but in order to understand it, you would have had to seen a comedy / cartoon called Wondershozen in order to really "get it", so he calls me Number 2, and I call him Number 1.

I know, retarded.

I don't know that I have ever called my husband by any other name but his real name. I am not one for pet names. Now on occasion, when my dander is up, I will go through every name in the family before I actually get to his name. He calls it "calling roll". Can't help it. I am all flustered I guess.

I almost always do. Very rarely, would I use a pet name. "Yes, dear" is about as far as that goes.

My husband and I call each other by our first names. We don't have pet names because I don't like them....I know, I'm "different"

I call my husband his name with a Y on the end. So does my son...even though I am MOM my son calls his Dad by his nickname...(he picked it up as a baby from me saying it).

My husband doesn't call me my name often. It's usually some endearment like darling or something.

They are almost too silly and embarrassing to repeat (Stuff like Honey Bunny, Snuggle Bunny, or Honee' trying to be French sounding etc...) probably makes a sane person gag.
I've got so many nicknames for Mrs. Chow, not necessarily cutsie ones. She's actually shocked when I do call her by her name, as I only do it when I'm pissed at her.

Then she promptly tells me "Don't call me by my name" she says it sounds funny to her when I do.

My husband and I have variations of the same name, so its kind of weird to use them often. He's usually "honey" and I am usually "dear".
