I usually enjoy it. There are some songs which are pitched too high, and I don't always realize it until after I start trying to sing it. Pretty much have to forget about REO or Journey. But Hall and Oates just doesn't work for me either.

I usually end up singing country or pop music of the 80's.

I do a great rendition of Sinatra's "New York, New York" (or at least I think it sounds great after a few drinks...)

I did it at a pub in the U.K. knowing I'd never see anyone there again. The song was "Delilah". LOL

Yes i have and only with a few drinks in me..I'm a good artist but suck at singing..but at least god gave me one gift!

Karaoke is major fun. It's a great way to find out how uptight someone is. It's karaoke not a record deal audition, it's a great way to lighten up and have fun. If you can't laugh at yourself, how can you have fun?
