You do what you feel is best, but I would seriously question the stability of a marriage where someone was thrown in jail, whether they deserved it or the other party lied.
Sounds like when all the money & credit is gone she may want to look for husband #4. Some morning he'll wake up, she'll be gone and he'll be broke.

I'd cut my losses while I had a little left in the bank. Retirement can be tough when you're broke.

I'm telling you, get a post office box and have all the mail sent there - statements where you can see what she's spending it on and all your bills to pay.

Hillman, you seriously are a hopeless case and cause. You're not looking for any answers, you're just looking to VENT, so stop mincing words and just keep posting with, "Hillman Vent # ..." and let it go at that.

So I asked how much was owed on the property? $151.I said well this is just stupid and I will get it straighten out.

My wife comes in I asked her about it and she lied again and said it was paid off. But at least she knows I'm aware of this and she will probably pay it.

I don't know what to do with her she has done stupid things as this before and she can't figure why I get so upset. No I'm not going to divorce her.I figure after 27 years she is going to do this stuff but I figure she will change thing is every time I think things are going good something like this comes up.

Any ideas.

I wondered about this as well. Do you owe $151.00 or $151,000.00 on your house?
