My female friend had a guy cancel on her tonight because it's COLD and RAINY in Philadelphia (how to, social)

I've canceled because of cold and rainy. I usually say "Hey we can do something when the weather gets better. Maybe lunch or a movie. I'll put it down on the calender."

Oh for God's sake. Who would of thunk that he'd not be baaack. We all knew he couldn't/wouldn't stay away and what a LAME excuse of a post to pop back in again. Nothing has changed, nothing will change but now he feels justified and had to let everyone know that ...

There was a City-Data meet set up for tonight. I ended up spending something like $60 to try to get to it (and back). I didn't see anyone else there. One of the reasons given by people cancelling was the weather. Cold--and potentially rainy. Pretty windy actually. I went there in a T-shirt, and I was about freezing.
But, you know, I said that I would go, and so I did. I didn't cancel--but no one else showed up.
