I think the best thing to do is to be yourself. I am myself on dates, with whomever I'm with but i tend to lean on the 'funny' side of things when it comes to the person i am or the things i talk about and thats because i do that naturally.

Humor is always a good ice breaker...unless you are corny! It's one thing to be funny but to be cheesey and lame is a whole different story! So, don't try unless you know you'll be a hit 'cause akward laughter is no good...not on a date!

Usually, for me at least, the jokes come naturally and are accompanied by real laughter. Only works if the chemistry is right.
