Sick people that worship those they see on the movie screen. What a stupid poll. Have you thought about actually getting a life?
Worship isn't the issue, but major physical/sexual attraction. People do all kinds of stupid things over that feeling. All kinds. I'm not so certain we'd all be so sure of themselves if the opportunity actually arose.
The question is too vague - is the STD curable? Do you get a chance to get to know the person at all? Is there alcohol involved? Too many variables!

I voted no based on my circumstances and the likelihood that I would be single and come across my "dream celebrity" (not sure who he is anyway but for the purposes of this thread I'm assuming I have one.) and he would impress me enough as a human being that I'd want to drop my dax for him anyway. All that to consider before I even got to non-fatal std.
