I'm looking at the recipe right now. I just might do this during the next week or so.

Salty is good.

That's kind of good. Something to look forward to - gifts and welcoming the New Year all in one. And your brother!

My youngest brother is in another country now, seeing his wife and son. (Long story for another time)

My boyfriend bought me two of those Zhu Zhu hamsters for Christmas! (I didn't realize how cute they were til I saw them close up.) You press their noses and they make a lot of different, silly sounds. He also got me the Clinton Kelly book for Christmas with all the recipes. And gave me some money.

Then my mother gave me slippers, and my parents gave me a check (thanks, Mom and Dad!)! Oh, and they gave us 10 Scratcher tickets. My boyfriend and I each rubbed off 5. We won $17 bucks between the two of us - surprised, we never win anything! (Well, we never play.)

And I gave my boyfriend the Star Trek 11 Blu-Ray 3 disc set.

I felt bad, didn't buy my folks or my brothers anything, but I was surprised my folks still got us something. That was nice.

So it was a good Christmas anyway!

Oh, it's so nice to relax and stay in today. I must be the laziest person on earth. I didn't have to host a party or cook or anything, I'm just relieved not to have to ATTEND a party.

If you guys go see that Avatar movie in 3D, they may show you the trailer for Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp. We're going to go see THAT movie in 3D. OMG, that is awesome looking.

The 3D movie is expensive, but it is worth every penny, let me tell you. It is nothing like we ever experienced before. The colors are unbelievable. The 3D effect is like nothing you've ever seen before. So realistic in the weather scenes, you're afraid that ash in the movie will hit you in the eyes. You have to experience it.

What is that old fashioned saying for New Years...
To cook up Blackeyed peas and cornbread for good luck is it?
