Do people who let religion guide their relationships and romantic lives freak you out? (man, love)

They don't freak me out, but I would never date anyone that was religious. None of my friends are religious either. I just have no respect and little in common with church goers.
That's cool, most religious folk wouldn't be checking for you anyway.
It seems bizarre to me to not have a system in place in your life to guide you.
To answer the OP, I most certainly am NOT freaked out by people who let their religious beliefs guide their relationships. I am freaked out by people who DON'T let their religious beliefs guide them.
I think if thats what they believe, then who are we to judge it? (Shrugs)
I don't think the OP is necessarily judging the way you mean. He did say he's not here to "diss" people.
We all judge one another. You judge someone when you decide you want to date them, or be their friend. You most certainly judge someone when they say something that gives you something to think about or if they freak you out.

How do you if they go to church? Do they just walk up to you and tell you?

Well... if they throw in a "god bless" into all their greetings and farewells, if they wear a cross hanging from a necklace around their neck... that would be a good indication of being too christian for me. If they can't go to autocross events on Sunday mornings, that would be another indication of their faith. Also, having a Jesus fish emblem on their car or a pro-life bumper sticker.
Which reminds me, I still need to get a couple of Darwin fish for my cars.
I know a couple of people who didn't have sex until they got married (or tried to anyway). I know others who structure their lives, dating proclivities, and how they should interact with their spouses around a conservative Christian viewpoint. I am not trying to diss people who choose to live a certain life, but it all just seems so bizarre to me.

So, would you judge the next person you dated, because he believed in GOD? Why is this question so bizarre?
