Exactly. If you read a lot of celebrities' biographies, you'll find a lot of them got their foot in the door by dating people with some sort of connections. And this is before many of them even got plastic surgery.
On a semi-related note, Kathy Griffin and Jack Black dated before anybody knew who either of them were.
I would be happy to date someone who makes me laugh so hard my stomach would hurt. Both of the above give me this impression, their funny personalities can make them attractive for dating.
I havent read all the posts yet, but I think all of you guys are being pretty harsh. What makes some of these celebrities desirable are not necessarily their looks but their overall being -- many of them are very talented, interesing people. Some are not. That being said, why don't all of you guy put your worst photos or photos without makeup here on the threads and let's have a go at you? I find this whole thread surprisingly harsh.
