I'm not traveling to Arizona anytime soon. With that new law they passed today, I don't want the police mistaking me for an undocumented immigrant and stopping me just "cause I fit the profile". Whatever that means....
I hope that law gets crushed since it violates the civil liberties of all american citizens who look foreign. In the mean time, I'll have to vacation elsewhere and take my business outside of that state.
Plus, it's still against the law to hunt camels in Arizona, true enough, and I know how you so look forward to doing that.

I'm a legal alien and I have been stopped and asked to produce my papers 6 times all thru my stay in the US
And I support that law. Why would people worry when they are legal residents?? The illegal ones need to get out as they are slowly destroying this country. They destroy the legal residents too, not just citizens.
Did anyone watch 30 Rock this week? Tina Fey's character was doing all the singles events at her local Y, to wacky sitcom results. She had a great line to Alec Baldwin: "You get more distinguished as you age, and I'm buying books called "Hiding Your Arms, Hiding Your Anger: Dating after 35".

Just tell them you are under Grizz Hawk's protection. They all know me...

What is that business that you do?
I'm an american citizen, and I have never been stopped because I am latina. But of course, now in Arizona, any John Doe cop can feel like they have a right to stop someone. I don't like being bothered by the police when I am driving down the street. I don't speed and I follow the traffic rules, there's no need to bother someone when they are minding their own business, just cause I look a certain way. Cops are not even aware of immigration laws, that's what homeland security (INS) is for.

Thanks, but I'm not going to Arizona anymore. It's just not right that they are going to be discriminating.
