Yeah, and it was the night from hell last night, as far as getting any sleep. First our cat got WAY too much rest during the day and was yowling and wanted to go outside and was creating mischief inside. He doesn't usually do that.
Then there was also a very nasty cat fight outside, just below our window.
And then here comes this earthquake. I kept lying there, waiting for the Big One to happen. (The earthquake, I mean. )
Perhaps the kitty sensed the quake. They are good at that stuff.
My mom called me up crying. The earthquake really scared her. She said her only consolation was that I was out of state...then she began asking questions about livability here! Somebody help me! Why do people get scary when they get old?
You know, that occurred to me too. He did several small things that were out of the norm. Nothing dramatic, but I did notice it.
Did you see the video with the dog before the quake in Haiti ? An office video camera caught this dog in the building who looked up quickly and haul buns out of the building about 5 seconds before the earthquake hit.
You could see that he had that sense it was about to happen.
Is anyone else required to do Continuing Education for their job??? I am doing everything I can to avoid it! So glad CD is here as a distraction
No, but we do have occasional training that is required. And of course, our annual diversity training. Love that.
