Let's put it to rest...85% of men like curves (marry, young, friends)

If you are thinner than gisele then i'm sorry, but you WOULD look as though you are starving to me. That's abnormal.
I'm not thinner than her, I probably almost AS thin as her tho. I'm almost 5'11 and weigh about 130 pounds (132 actually. I just weighed myself)....and I've been skinnier than that.
And Giselle doesn't look like she's starving to me, I see no rib bones sticking out or anything.
I thought that first photo was way too thin. She's obviously very attractive but not shapely in my opinion. Of course I'm not attracted to sofa sized women but a fairly thin waist with ample hips and breasts is the perfect shape. Now I'll admit that if the woman in the first photo came up and flirted with me (as if) I'd be willing to overlook the fact that she's too thin.
I don't know the specs on either woman in the OP. But part of the reason the first looks thinner is the difference in poses. 85% of men would jump at the chance of either of those women. As seeniorita said 95%+ will not get the chance at anyone that looks like that. Just my opinion.
I think it was Robert Heinlein who said, "All women are beautiful, some more than others."
The model in the top photo (Giselle?) looks kind of thin... but she also looks to be rather tall, which makes her look thinner. She doesn't seem to be completely flat, though; but it's hard to tell with her arms in that position, lol.
Beyonce is very attractive and has nice curves, but her thighs are a bit too big for my taste (but not in the photo, as you said).
I don't like those wafer-thin supermodels (anybody remember Kate Moss?), but I don't like women with huge breasts either, particularly those with implants. Dolly Parton and Wendy Williams (too tall, also) are not for me!
As long as a woman has enough curves to differentiate herself from a man, she's OK with me.

LMAO... the "specs" of the women? Are we talking about cars, or women?

LOL! Height & weight for starters. I don't think the pictures give a full picture (pun intended) of either woman. Each picture exagerates her assets. Of course that is what fashion photography is about. The first pic was shot to deliberately emphasize her tallness. The second was deliberately shot to emphasize her curves.

Reason: oops!
I was just talking to my husband about this the other day. Most men out there can't get a "Victoria's Secret" model even though I'm sure they would die to.

LOL...it's funny how the two are associated. Get'em when they're shiny and new...drive and wear the hell out of 'em then trade'em in for a newer model.
Has anyone besides me noticed the following irony?
Mens Magazines: (Playboy, Maxim etc.) = Curvy Women
Womens Magazines: (Vanity Fair, Elle etc.) = thin\slender models
An interesting lesson in perspective.
