Dennis Hopper's bitter divorce from wife Victoria is deteriorating his health and leaving him broke

Dennis Hopper's bitter divorce battle with wife Victoria is not only draining his financial assets, it's also impairing his health.
According to new court documents obtained by TMZ.com, Hopper has become extremely ill from his battle with advanced prostate cancer, and now weighs only a little more than 100 pounds.
"It is doubtful that Mr. Hopper will ever recover sufficiently to be subject to a deposition," one of his doctors reportedly stated in a declaration.

The main can't even die in peace without his wife raking him over the coals. A recent article claims that the pair signed a pre-nup to avoid a messy breakup; looks like THAT is working well!

That sucks, but who knows what went on between them for 14 years. We don't know everything that goes on behind the scenes, maybe he had this coming? I like Hopper's work, but I don't pretend to know him or any other celebrity when they go through something like this. For all we know he may have treated her badly when his health was good and now it's all coming back to him.

I have always like Hopper and I feel bad for him, but apparently marriage has never worked well for him. She is what #5, and this is to be expected when a man goes for the hot chicks 30 yrs. his jr. And just to point out he filed.

One example is not representative of the whole to make conclusions as you are alluding to.

One extreme example of a bitter divorce is not an indictment against all marriages

And any person who married FIVE times has issues that would almost certainly render him incapable of being successfully married to anybody.

Indeed, I don't know why everyone is so quick to blame her when he is a five time marriage loser.

The man is very very sick and knew he was terminally ill prior to filing. For all we know, he has greedy children behind this, pulling the strings to ensure they are divorced before he dies. What sort of person would spend the last couple of months of his life fighting for a divorce decree?

Sorry, this whole situation stinks to high heaven. Nobody can hold this story up as a reasonable I Told You So example.

Starting a thread about people that none of us know personally who are celebrities would be like basing an opinion on something you read in The National Enquirer. I also get the feeling that the OP was just trying to dig up some dirt on women in general and this was all he could come up with. There is a thriving industry that sensationalizes the lives of celebrities and movie stars because there are millions of shallow people who just can't wait to read about what Paris Hilton did when she was drunk at a party. This industry also loves tragic events like the death of Michael Jackson and the suffering and certain death that awaits Dennis Hopper because it makes them money. Personally I think it's sickening but apparently the OP was so excited that he decided to start a thread about it.

She deserves her cut. Obviously she was behind his acting career when he played such convincing lunatics.
