Jesus said "the chances of a RICH man going to heaven is the same as a camel going thru the eye of a needle".

So... How much money classifies one as rich in regards to the camel/needle thing?

He also added, though, that with God "all things are possible." What's a dogma card? Whatever... I just voted to use it.

I'd say $500,000 or more and your richer than 95 % of the population, so LOOK OUT!

"RICH" is when you dont rely on God for anything, you have so many "things" that you dont have time for God. I think one could be a millionaire and as long as God is top priorty theres no problem. Its when the "look at me and what I am, look what I do" mentallity creeps in that God is pushed out of mind. Jesus told the rich youg ruler, go and sell all you own and follow me, I think that this illustrates that the guy was consumed with earthly things and not heavenly things. Math 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Yes Kay, and being from Plano means that you might be pretty well off.

Christ said this statement point blank. And well-to-do Christians always quote other bible verses to worm out of it.

Most of America is in the top 5% of the world's wealth.

I really wonder if the idea was actual wealth or the love of money more than God.

The scripture was pretty blunt and direct. Read what I wrote to KayKay

Seems like many like to use other verses and creative ideas to get out of direct verses that apply to them.
