God will burn them if they burn His book

I don't know how this will be: hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, epidemics ...etc.

This is because they pretend not agreeing about burning the book of the Quran, while they in fact do not prevent such men from committing their transgression on the book of God: the Glorious Quran.

NO, no god will burn any man for these actions, there are no gods.

Now man, believing in these fictional gods will almost assuredly react in some stupid and hateful manner, thus escalating the hatred, you know, the catalyst that starts wars.

This is as stupid as killing someone over which crappy TV reality show is the best show.

Religion is the greatest threat to our future we have ever faced. We have very stupid people with weapons of the unimaginable ability to kill, and with a 'holy book' nearby one of these idiots will start the last war. George Bush tried, he was just too stupid to accomplish his ultimate goal. Sometime stupidity and incompetence work in favor of our future, but I wouldn't count on it.

Religions have got to go, if we want a future.

You really do not understand do you?

In this country you are free to agree, to disagree, to burn a holy book, to insult another faith. And the government is powerless to stop it. It is called freedom of speech. You can make fun of me and what I do and what I believe and I can ridicule you and your beliefs. It is legal. Furthermore, many of us have gone to war to make sure that someone can do something that insults us, and do so without fear of getting hurt or killed. Several years ago a man had a "art" exhibition showing a crucified Jesus in a bottle of urine. It upset many people to have their religion portrayed in that manner. But the art exhibit was allowed to continue because it was one persons opinion, and we consider that persons opinion just a valid as anyone elses opinion.

The American CANNOT prevent the burning of the Koran and there are many in this country that will welcome it. that you may find it offensive is too bad. That I find it offensive is too bad. They still can do it.

This is why, despite many people objecting to the construction of the mosque in New York, it is still legal to build it. The majority of Americans are Christians and find Islam offensive. If we were like the countries of the Middle East then Muslims would NOT be allowed to worship, be allowed to convert others to Islam, and mosques would NOT be allowed to be built. In this country you have rights and freedoms you do not have in your country. And if you can't deal with the freedom of speech and the freedom of religion, then stay in your country where you can control such things. We do not, we will not control religious activities, beliefs, or actions.

If some persons intend to burn the Gospel, will Muslims allow this in their countries? No, of course; because Muslims believe in the Torah and the Gospel as do they believe in the Quran.

The only thing that will result from the burning of the Koran is that biggotted, hypocritical, radical muslims will burn the Bible and the American flag. They are already burning the American flag in demonstrations preparing for the Koran burning, which is supposed to happen saturday. The media doesn't really outrage over that though because the muslim community acting like primitive cavemen in the middle east is nothing new.

The pastor doing this burning is no better than the muslims he is offending however, it is his right under the US Constitution to burn those books if he so chooses. Telling him that what he is doing is wrong while they are burning American flags in the background is sheer hypocricy.

Religion itself needs to be eradicated to rid this planet of the morons killing one another over pretend God's. Only then will humans have any chance of future survival and prosperity.

You know what they are doing is wrong but the government will not prevent it because as much as some of us detest what they are doing they have freedoms that many others who live in autocracies don't have.

The Qur'an is the muslim holy book but so is the Hebrew scriptures and the Christian bible, and I don't want to leave out all the other religions who have holy books they deem sacred.

It is a book and no matter what they do or don't do its not worth violence.

Pfffttt...we have been hearing how "god will strike you down" for centuries.

Thus far god hasn't bothered doing squat.

Maybe he got out of the 'striking down' business

Would you feel the same if they were going to burn the Satanic bible, the Tao Ti Ching, the Dhammapada or the Vedas? I find it rather ironic that you wouldn't care if those other holy texts were being burned, but then get all offended when it's your holy text.
