On a serious note, confession is not an easy job. It takes a mental toll on the priests. They basically do what therapists are trained to do, but the latter collects money. Confession is basic recitation of sins. Some people recite for an hour. And the priest has to do it over and over. It's a tough job.

You kind of don't know that. I originally said something personal, but decided what goes on there is maybe no one's business. Suffice to say if a guy's confessing to going solo I don't think the priest necessarily gets more upset if he's thinking of guys during the act. I'd assume it's the same with gals and women.

A lot of issues are like that. Gambling, texting while driving, trying to force people to vote during an election, etc. It's what inevitably makes the law fail; not because it's moral to masturbate, but because it's unfeasible to make people NOT do it.

Masterbating is normal, healthy, natural, and enjoyable. I find nothing wrong or shameful about it. I don't feel guilty about it. Neither do my friends. We are human beings. We were made this way. We have sexual feelings. Why go against your nature or feel guilty about they way your body works?
