Why not just say "X marks the spot"? I hope we're not going through all that nonsense about Christman vs Xmas again this year. Not very inspirational. The 'reason for the season' is the winter solstice. Christ is a symbol of rebirth, like all the earlier gods that serve the same purpose. (No, the sun isn't going away entirely.)
I figured I'd head the typical protestations about 'xmas' off at the pass, before they get started this year.
I don't understand why so many Christians don't know what the Chi-Ro is. It's usually somewhere in our stained-glass windows. Also, haven't they ever seen The Book of Kells (or at least a photo of it)?

When undertaking to critique the knowledge of others . . . it is wise to check your own . . . the Greek letter Rho is not spelled Ro.
