Seven stands out a lot in the Scriptures. The number seven represents perfection or completeness.
Number 7 is the "perfect" number. I believe I was told it was representative of God's perfection. Just as the number 6 is man's number, more exactly 666.

Yes seven means complete, perfect, there are seven days of the week, seven notes in music, seven colors of the rainbow, in the book of John Jesus said "I am" seven times. 6 is mans number like mams said, add one (God) to that and get seven.
