Because He is Holy. Holiness cannot associate with sin. I don't expect you to understand that, but that is the reason.

No it isn't. God never put the entire population to death, as you claim.

Then there were some minor atrocities like having all baby boys chopped up with swords. I'm sorry, but that is one sick bastard.

Your choice.
There is nothing Holy about killing people because they didnt play your way. Killing is sin, even he says so.

And saving a few people but killing millions is pretty much wiping everyone out.

All are major, with a god there should be no mistakes.
The only one that could possibly be considered major is #5. If you read the words of Jesus & the writings of Paul, James makes perfect sense. Still, none of your example challenges the idea that God loves us and that Jesus is our Savior, both of which all Christians agree on.

God does desire those things, from all of us. He also wants you to recognize that these good things in life were given to you by Him.

That isn't correct actually but if I name the religions I will get one of those "but they aren't really christians" response, so I won't bother.

Why does he need credit? Self esteem issues? needs his ego massaged.

No they are ALL Major, considering the bible is suppose to be gods words, even he couldn't get it right. Makes one wonder what else he would be wrong about or how any god could be so wrong so often ( there are many more than 10 by the way)?

Noah & his family were the only righteous people left on Earth. Everyone else was evil.

Your understanding of holiness is non-existent.
