I would have thought that you would know what your bible says...I guess not.

Exodus 35:2 “For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a sabbath of complete rest to the LORD; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. “You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath day.”

Morality Without God - YouTube
Without God and his principles in society, immorality abounds leading to anarchy. Exactly what we see occuring today on a large, growing, continual scale. Do you really want to live in a world where everyone has relative morals ? If youre married, would you object to your wife taking on sexual relativism in the form of adultery ?

Like those heathens in Japan... a society completely out of control, eh?

If you believe that slavely is wrong today, but was okay in OT times, you are a moral relativist.

If you believe that multiple wive is wrong today, but okay in OT times, you are a moral relativist.

If you believe it is okay of one being to order genocide, or committ genocide, but not another being, you are a moral relativist.

Christians, though they seldom admit it, don't believe in an absolute morality. They believe certain morals should apply in certain times and places, and can be influenced depending upon who committed the act in question.

I would have thought that you would know the Bible better since you choose to defame it as well as God ; Christ brought with him a NEW Covenant (himself) and we are no longer held to Old Testament law. While it is still important to set aside a day specifically to honor and worship God, we have the freedom in Christ to select which day that will be and we are no longer held accountable to The Law -- instead we are in a phase of grace and faith in Christ . He came to satisfy what the O.T. Law couldnt. Do you think youd ever like to get all your many accumulated sins completely forgiven and washed in the blood of Christ the Lamb , so you can finally be reconciled to God ?

I do live in a world in which everyone has their own moral code, even you, otherwise you would not be selecting the laws of the bible you decide to follow, and rejecting those YOU consider immoral. If you believe otherwise you are just fooling yourself.

But doesn't this show you are a moral relativist?

(Besides the fact that the command to honor the 7th day is written in unusally explicit language and repeated often, and there is very little support that that Jesus changed that command. In fact, it is claimed he came to fullfill the law, not over turn it, and history shows that the change to saturday was done later in a compromise with Roman authorities.)

There are many atheist couples who never commit adultery.

God still did unspeakable evil in the OT whether or not a new covenant came along... He stilled killed innocent babies. And Christians are very fond of using the Mosaic law to back up their beliefs when it suits them.

Christians are the ultimate moral relativist, who can call any sort of atrocity "moral" if it was committed by the right people in the right places in the right time.

How is a quote from the bible my attempt to defame it? It seems to me that in that case the bible defames itself.
Do you follow the ten commandments? You do know that they are written in the old testament, right? The laws that you say have been abolished.
