Genesis 1-11 is not history, nor was it intended to be.
When you say it's "historic fact" - you say that as a non-historian. Historians require more evidence for "historic fact" than a religious work.
That is why history books don't talk about NOAH's ARK. Becuase they are written by historians, and not religious Fundamentalist literalists who don't know what critical analysis means.
Yes, he can also allegedly create the entire universe and all it contains with a simple thought. Yet he somehow needs to flood the Earth for six months to kill off a few million undesirable mites inhabiting one of the motes of dust floating in said universe, AFTER employing a 600 year old ******* for 100 years building a boat to save a few thousand animals.
Bible god is NOT a shining example of efficiency and intellect nor a very worthy candidate for the title Supreme Being.
There are lots of ancient ocean beds all over this earth. That in no way proves any sort of global inundating flood. Btw, the driest desert on the planet is, in fact, the central plains of the Antarctic. Get your facts right, OK?
And stop assuming things that are only qualified by your hyper-astute"I'll bet that...". This is hardly how any logical scientist or honest individual would go about proving anything. Suggestion: try reading up on a few things before you open your sushi hole!
Hmmm... here's one! I'll bet that you just don't get it! I'm thinking you don't have a vrey good academic educaiton. I'll just figure that you don't like to read much either. And finally, I think that you are beyond any intellectual redemption.
Wow! That was remarkably easy. And, since I'm assuming all of it, why... it must be true, huh, Eusebius? I mean, by your distorted and mis-guided standards of course...
Go for it, man! You continue to troll-amuse us all!
Not only that, but on the History Channel last night they were talking about this lost city in the Sahara they recently discovered. The huge colums of the buildings have reliefs of animals unknown to that area. The scientists (plural) said a plausible explanation would be that the people who founded this city came from Noah's Ark and the animals on the columns are from the animals that came off the ark. The city has been buried under the sands for thousands of years. You can't accuse these scientists of being "liars for Jesus" since it wasn't a "christian" show.
