Certainly there are some Bishops; priest, deacons and LAITY who have seemed to lost track of who, what and where they are spiritually. They have forgotten [or perhaps were never told?] that "God is and must be in charge."
The post Vatican II innovations based on the "spirit" but not the Law, still exist; although it has been greatly muted. That may soon change as the post-synod recommendations to Pope Francis [a Synod cannot bind anyone] leave room for the "spirit of Vatican II" to again raise its head. Meaning PERSONAL conscience RULES.
While this is a truism; it is conditional on all having a rightly and fully informed conscience.
From the Catechism of the RCC #1783 "Conscience must be informed and moral judgment enlightened. A well-formed conscience is upright and truthful. It formulates its judgments according to reason, in conformity with the true good willed by the wisdom of the Creator. The education of conscience is indispensable for human beings who are subjected to negative influences and tempted by sin to prefer their own judgment and to reject authoritative teachings."
To me, it does not matter. I am firm faith has none to do with organized religion. Faith is of the spirit and organized religion is of the world. Then everyone makes their own choice, what to pursue. Resulting in being concerned - or not - with topic discussed.
Mathew 6:5-6
Romans 12:2
John 2:15-17
"...know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is an enemy of God."

Friend, may I presume that your a Christian?
If so How can there be more than one true God?
And how can God have more than one set of faith beliefs; being that truth has to be singular per defined issue?
My aunt, a Catholic Nun, has been saying for some time she wants to see some changes made. I don't see it happening, though.
There are changes being made. Slowly. Very slowly. The Church never did move fast.
I think your aunt is a sister, Big difference between a nun and a sister. Most people have never seen a nun. Some sisters will yell at you if you call them a nun especially the newer socially conscience type of sister.
And how can God have more than one set of faith beliefs; being that truth has to be singular per defined issue?
God Bless you,
Patrick
Have you ever heard of the KISS rule? The problem is that you have failed to Keep It Simple. Faith is not a matter of doctrines and structure.
