I was referring to today, not the Old Testament prior to our new covenant with God

Exactly, that's why I think religion is a scam, it's nothing more than a way to try and explain the unexplainable, or better stated science can't explain yet.

There is so my hypocracry in religion it's sad really.

Many religions do more harm than good - no question about that.

And some are even "scams"

But the good news is, you don't have to belong to a particular religion to have a relationship with God
