Thanks. I invite people to read up and maybe look further and they must decide themselves whether this represents a fossilized animal millions of years old or one just thousands of years old.

I believe they use the word "mineralized" do describe the skin. So while it is a lucky find. And believe we can get some organic material out of the fossilized/mummified dino. In both articles there doesn't not seem to be any debate that this fossil dates back millions of years.

There are attempts at revising history and saying that Christians believed the Earth was flat before Columbus, a story completely fabricated in the 19th century and if anything it was an Aristotle belief system

But besides all that, let's get to the bottom line

If belief in 6 day creation holds back science, let's name all the inventions of the last 150 years since Darwin published the Origin of Species, that require million of years of evolution.
Beyond the sharpened stick all of man's inventions have required millions of years of evolution.

I'll say cornflakes - because without evolution you would not have corn.

Let's brush aside the following facts:

that in 382 CE, Emperor Theodosius declared chrisitianity to be the sole legal religion in the Roman Empire and outlawed and banned all other religions

that in 533 CE, John the Bishop Rome conned Emperor Justinian into making him the head of the ?Imperial Roman Catholic Church

and that from that point up through the 18th Century, people were murdered for not believing. Even those who believed were murdered for not believing properly.

And even after that, people were brainwashed from infancy into being church-goers.

Uh, chrisitians adopted the Aristotelian belief system in its entirety, from the very start of christianity.

Those beliefs were that the Earth was flat; the Earth was the center of the Solar System; the Sun orbited Earth; Earth was the center of the Universe; propagation of a species was through spontaneous generation; and diseases were caused by colored gases (that were invisible to people).

People were murdered for holding or espousing beliefs contrary to that. Eventually christians got smart and came around to believe that diseases were caused by an imbalance of the colored biles in the body, and not by gases.

If you want, you can read what christians wrote about all of the people christians murdered or exiled for believing in things like a spherical Earth, heliocentric solar system etc, but I'm guessing you won't.

Which one of the things on this list requires millions of years of evolution? And why?
Which of the things on your laundry-list are organic? And why?

You do understand the difference between organic and non-organic, right?

Curious...

Understanding of Darwinian evolutionary process is necessary for many in computer science because since the 60s they have been developing ways to use natural selection processes within computer programming algorithms to refine artificial intelligence, gene mapping technologies, and meteheuristic optimization (aka solutions to complex programming problems).

MIT has an entire journal devoted to this, called Evolutionary Computation. Browse though it and you'll find many practical programming related applications that require knowledge of Darwinism.
