Well, wait a second, now the rational part of my brain kicks in. How do I know that one guard always lies and one guard always tells the truth? Is there a third party guiding me? Why don't I just ask the third party as many questions as I can to find out which guard is the liar and which one is the truth-teller? Then I can ask the truthful one to let me in
