Condoms. The Church refuses to even allow CONDOMS which will SAVE LIVES. Condoms. Condoms. Condoms. Let's say the word together, shall we? Let us shout if from the roofs of cathedrals so that even the most conservative of Catholics will dare say the word. Condoms. It's not a bad word. Condoms. They aren't tools of Satan. Condoms. They are a life-saving piece of material that the Catholic Church will not allow. Condoms.

As far as I'm concerned, your right to practice your religion ends at the tip of your nose. Don't like abortion? Don't get one - you have the right to decide for yourself if your God will turn you into a crispy critter in yon afterlife. The issue with religion is that it isn't content to mind it's own flock - nope. It has to mind everyone else's business as well.

It reminds me of the religious fruitcake that came into our PUBLIC. library and vandalized all of the expensive art books by scribbling out the 'private' parts with a black magic marker. This woman took it upon herself to decide for the entire community, Christian or not, what we're allowed to see because she was expressing her religion any way she wanted to.
Christians would not support vandalism, did you even look at the video the OP posted? That beats scribbling in books by a long shot.

Plus, we all have the right to peacefully assemble and march for our rights. The right to life of the unborn, or brothers and sisters in the womb are a concern to those who are alive today. We should all be concerned about each other. Those are Jesus' instructions to His followers.

Yeah, the CC is there to tell them that condoms should not be used. THAT helps reduce the spread of AIDS.

An example would be Pope Francis. Who, I've no doubt, would follow the example of Christ and wash the feet of the women outside that cathedral in Argentina.

The Pope would also tell those women what they are doing is wrong. Do not have an abortion and kill your child. That is true love, telling the truth. To love a person does not mean to agree with them when they do wrong.

Thank you.

Condoms.

The audacity of claiming the Catholic Church has the answer to AIDS in Africa and that answer is marriage is so overwhelming as to be unbearable.

Condoms.

And how many of those already born have you personally adopted? 5, 10, 20?
What part are you playing in making sure that they have a loving home?

Oh, I forgot, once they are born they are on their own, especially if they are women or gay.

No the CC is against condoms. Getting married and staying monogamous is the cure. Being faithful to your spouse.

The fact remains, that the womans body is hers alone. You can say she's wrong, but to deny her rights to her own body goes too far.

True love does not force anyone to do or not do anything either, Janelle. Your zeal for the Lord does YOU justice . . . but your desire to FORCE others to do as you do does NOT! Your zeal is valuable to God because it is voluntary and reflects the desire of your Soul. It would have no value if it were forced. We can try to persuade others to embrace the values we hold . . . but we cannot FORCE them to do so.

The Church does not force anyone to do anything. The last time I looked it was the other way around. The state is now going to force the Church to do what it tells them to do with the HHS mandate.
