An excellent demonstration of the avoidance technique commonly known as the cop out.

Well done, Viz.

Hello jeffbase40.

The problem with your example of Burmese Pythons is that they didn't really adapt...at least not in the way you are implying for the Kowala. Those Floridian pythons are still pythons...looking and acting as they always have. The only thing they needed to change was their diet, although unlike the Kowala their needs aren't all that specific - they are still eating the same sorts of things (with the occasional mishap).

So I don't see the connection between the Burmese Python and the rapidly-adapting Kowala that you are proposing could have existed (not that there is any evidence of such).

Thanks.

PS - You can use the word "adapt" if you prefer, but I think we all know that what you are proposing is that the Kowals rapidly evolved.

No cop out. I will openly admit I don't have all the answers. But then, neither does any evolutionist. There's still a lot we're discovering.

As I said though--no matter what we answer back with, you and others here will find a reason to NOT believe. The issue is not lack of evidence.

Hello again Pastor Vizio.

You can test this hypothesis by answering the question posed in the OP.

Should be a fun experiment.

Thanks.

I honestly don't know. I wasn't there.

Can't keep people straight anymore? DewDrop is a Christian...

And I think that you are speaking without knowledge. Many of us would believe, given sufficient evidence. It is just that we have a much higher bar than you. A feeling, a sense of awe, a collection of myths, none of these are sufficient, certainly not to overcome the logical problems inherent in many religious beliefs.

It isn't about finding a reason NOT to believe. I spent quite a while desperately looking for reasons to continue to believe. I studied, prayed, examined my own faith, did everything I could to hold on to belief. Ultimately, I couldn't. I have made peace with my unbelief, so I am not scrabbling for any little thing I can that will allow me to quell the cognitive dissonance anymore, but I am still open to actual evidence.

Unfortunately it isn't forthcoming, all I get is excuses and falsehoods about my own motivation. Face it Viz, once again you are allowing your doctrine to box you into a place where you must defend it with falsity.

It's simple really, Noah was a time lord, and the ark was a tardis. That is how he fit all of the animals and their food supply in (bigger on the inside). Then after the flood waters receded he simply used the tardis' teleportation abilities to drop off all of the animals in their correct habitats, then parked the tardis on top of a mountain. Then after hanging out for a while he set the controls to auto-pilot and sent it to an alternate universe, that is why we haven't found the ark yet.

I'm not embarrassed about being ignorant on biology because that's not my forte. Everyone is ignorant about something. What is shameful and embarrassing is when atheists make hit and run statements like this just to look superior. If I'm wrong then you should educate me with proof. Otherwise this just comes off as an insult.
