I am a minister but right now I don't feel like one. My husband left a good job to move to Texas to start a church. Everything has went wrong and we have spent all of our money. My husband is a awesome man of God. I don't understand why God is allowing us to be on the verge of being homeless. I love God with all my heart. I just don't understand why he is not helping. My husband needs a job and has a clean criminal record and stellar work history. Please pray for me. We have four kids. If God is humbling me; it has worked because I am crushed.

It's all in His plan. It happens to everyone at some point in their life. My husband and I both work decent paying, good jobs, we have one child and own our home, but are barely making ends meet. My husband and child don't even have insurance because we are over the income limit for CHIPS and the government health insurance that is supposed to be widely available to everyone is ridiculously overpriced for little to no coverage. ($350/month for a $12,000 deductible?!) We are all here with you. On top of this I just got a pretty scary diagnosis of a blood clotting disorder. I will pray for you!

God is not helping you because he doesn't exist. I feel terrible that you find yourself in such a challenging situation and I hope that things improve for you, but supernatural help will not be coming. Do not depend on it.

There are so many little churches popping up here in our part of Texas - it is crazy! Competition is probably too much.
Even Dave Ramsey says that going into the ministry is not for everyone. Maybe seek a different path. Good luck.

Thank you for all your prayers but once again God did it again. He is preparing me to help others. I have never been in this situation before but God has turned my struggle into a bigger testimony. The devil thought he won but my God will provide all my needs. I stand in awe of his faithfulness. When we lose faith God is working behind the scenes. I am humble now; now he can use me. Before honor comes humility. Humility another word for humiliation. To God be the Glory!

I have always been of the belief that God gave us brains and the ability to make decisions for a reason. No matter what your plans are, it is often not advised to quit your job and move to another state without a job already lined up. I try not to make bad decisions because I don't expect God to jump in and save me every time I make one.
