As we all know, cigarettes are highly addictive and bad for one's health.

Imagine a new kind of cigarette that could also convince its users that all non-smokers (including children) would suffer infinite torture after death.

Soon, the world would be filled with zealous people trying to get others to smoke. Eventually they would become a political majority and use the force of law to make sure everyone became a smoker.

It's a good analogy for religions like Christianity and Islam.

That was called acid-laced pot. It didn't catch on.

Thankfully.

Unfortunately, militant religions like Christianity and Islam DID catch on.

I'm just glad that the Bible tells us that "God will have all mankind to be saved because Christ ransomed all" (see 1 Tim.2:4-6). No cigarettes needed for that.

This assumes that said cigarettes created the universe. Also, I don't see or hear cigarettes speaking or sharing ideas or concepts.

Cutting to the chase, if God was just some made up concept, then I would have never gave up my agnostic point of view.

Please make the case that (your) God is real and not imaginary.

I will personally introduce you to Him in the resurrection. He already died to meet you.

Most of us already knew that all gods have died, gone away, and no more figments of our imaginations.
