On a serious note, it is quite scary that views like this actually exist. The silver lining, the comments all seem to be along the lines of "holy ****, you are awful and do not represent my Christianity" so there is that. But all the same, I can't imagine she got these views somewhere other than a pew, which means there's a crazed preacher getting others to think like this too.
Unfortunately, there are always going to be the Jim jones, hale-bopp people around.

Or she could have been schizophrenic and hearing voices.

Any way one slices it, sick. Anyone who defends it, sick. Anyone who links it to any religion, faith, or philosophy, sick.

I can't believe what I read. I can't believe that anyone, of any faith, would suggest is was OK to kill one's daughters because they were dating outside of their race. What year is it? Unbelievable that anyone would endorse that tradgedy, and operated under the tagline, "Spreading Positivity through Jesus Christ".

Some wonder why many people who use reason look suspiciously at fundamentalists. THIS is the reason, because of this whack-a-do craziness.

Please don't tell me there is anyone, ANYONE, on this forum who has similar views.

Quotes from the blog:
devout Republican and gun rights advocate, she no doubt discovered that both of her daughters had been promiscuous and were sleeping with black boys and she took it upon herself to put an end to that cycle. She was brave enough to stand up and say ENOUGH! Not in MY house! And she should be lauded.

… Mrs. Sheats was the picture of elegance and I know she would not want to have to explain to her friends why she was carrying around a yellow mixed baby that her promiscuous daughters had created.

Rather than be forced into this life of depravity and sin, she chose to go down grasping her weapon in the name of God. As far as I am concerned, she is a martyr for Christ.
What I read yesterday says that she killed her daughters just to make her husband live in sorrow for the rest of his life, and so she didn't kill him. I actually know of those people, I wasn't friends with them but they lived down the street. I can believe the story about her wanting to make her husband suffer, been with women like that, women that would go that far. I haven't heard anything on race like you are saying.

Cool. So along with now being able to mix fibers, homosexuality is good to go also, right? Can we still eat bats?

Only problem is homosexuality is even more condemned in the New Testament.

The daughter, as I understand it, was actually dating a hispanic guy.

The blog post may be satire. The blog is only a few days old and it is fact-free, even for a fundamentalist. So I am withholding judgment until that is cleared up.

Would you kill or promote the killing of homosexuals, Jeff? And Jeff, your god must be one sicko if you believe it condemns homosexuality to such a degree. There are better gods out there Jeff, why don't you look them up and invite them into your heart and expel that monster of yours? You can be saved, Jeff. Why don't you seek Jesus? He preached love and forgiveness. On the other hand he hated judgementalists and hypocrites.

Sounds like a graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC...

Christians can mix fibers.
Homosexuality was never good to go even outside the law. But Christians were never told to kill them.
If you want to still eat bats, be my guest.

Well, your shirt sleeve cousin does. Perhaps it was a known thing way back when itinerant desert goat herders told tales of bold in the cold around nightly campfires.

No, it's not. Butchering 2 verses in the entire Testament is not a strong case for being heavily condemned.
